Baffins Ward

Penny has been working hard alongside her Conservative Baffins ward councillor Jim Fleming to tackle issues raised by residents.


Baffins ward comes into Portsmouth North as part of the recent boundary changes and Penny was thrilled at the election of Conservative Councillor Jim Fleming in last years local elections.


Penny is a keen supporter of the Baffins Pond Association (BPA) and has been fully behind Cllr Fleming’s campaign for a new roof for the BPA and is looking forward to seeing it unveiled, hopefully in the spring of 2010.


As a regular attendee at Baffins Pond events, Penny believes that this little oasis is a vital asset in the midst of our congested city.

Baffins Pond Association is an integral part of the Baffins community hub.

Penny supports local shops in local communities. Alongside Baffins Conservative Councillor Jim Fleming, Penny fights the large chains from muscling in and putting the smaller traders of of business.


Tangier road in Baffins is a thriving hub of local traders who offer excellent services and products, from family run ‘greengrocers to award winning butchers and florists’.
