Paulsgrove Ward

Penny has been working hard alongside her Conservative Paulsgrove ward councillor Mike Blake to tackle issues raised by residents across the ward.

Penny also been working other city councillors to find funding for a community swimming pool in Paulsgrove.

Penny believes that the north of Portsmouth North, in particular Paulsgrove is ignored the the City Council and is fighting hard to get extra community facilities in the area. Penny believes that the Wymering Community Centre should be rebuilt, rather than the City Council spending the insurance money on facilities elsewhere in Portsmouth.

More Community Facilities are needed for the people of Paulsgrove...

After the new Wymering Community Centre was burnt down, the City Council didn’t replace the facility. Instead they spend the insurance money in other wards. This has left the people of Paulsgrove and Wymering without a community facility. The current MP in Portsmouth North has also done nothing about this community loss and has shown no interest in raising the issue of replacing this much needed facility.
