The Tory MP known for her targeted attacks on the SNP has been branded a ‘best seller’ at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival while the former First Ministers are ‘behind’.
The popular MP who regularly faces the SNP at Westminster “is the best seller so far in terms of tickets,” said interviewer Iain Dale. The LBC broadcaster will be putting questions to political heavyweights like Kate Forbes, Humza Yousaf and Nicola Sturgeon.
Ms Mordaunt however has beaten the Nationalist line up with more than 300 tickets sold and now her audience has been moved to a bigger room at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
Speaking to the Herald, Mr Dale said: “I think her profile obviously during the coronation was massive so I think that’s played a big part in it.
“And I mean, given that you couldn’t get much further south than Portsmouth, her constituency, from Edinburgh, I think it’s really quite interesting that she’s the top seller.”
