Penny Mordaunt visits Freight and Logistics company to add support to booming logistics industry

Recently Penny Mordaunt MP visited 2MVLogistics, a freight and logistics company based in Portsmouth. 2MVLogistics move freight by road, sea and air, and offers haulage, pallet distribution, hazchem and warehousing. They welcomed Penny, who was keen to discuss the needs of the freight sector, including local need in the Portsmouth and Solent Free Port area and International Free Port area for lorry parks and what support can be offered by way of local Enterprise and the successor body to the Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP). Penny was also keen to capitalise on the post-Brexit opportunities that Portsmouth firms can seize and how best to tackle the challenges created by policies in London, to freight carriers who collect and deliver there (eg. ULEZ).
